Specialist Clinical Pharmacist
Band 7 £52,845 - £61,466 per annum
Plus £1,461 and Distant Islands Allowance per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and highly motivated multidisciplinary team including a full range of healthcare professionals. Due to internal transfer we now can recruit two band 7 specialist clinical pharmacists to join our growing team in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide clinical pharmacy service to several wards at Western Isles Hospital.
* Support the local hospice and remotely support the other two hospitals throughout the archipelago.
* Collaborate with primary care pharmacy to enhance safe patient transition across boundaries of care.
* Engage in a novel ‘Front Door Service’ and support Hospital at Home.
* Utilise HEPMA for electronic prescribing and medicines administration across the hospitals.
* Assist with installation of Omnicell medicines vending machines and participate in capital projects such as dispensary refit.
