About the role
EICA Engineer reporting to the Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineer, responsible for delivering engineering projects that enhance manufacturing operations, control systems and instrumentation infrastructure. The role involves working on industrial control systems and supporting continuous improvement across the site, with flexibility required around business needs.
Responsibilities
* Support and deliver site‑wide electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (EICA) projects
* Ensure new and existing equipment meets internal customer needs and future‑proofing goals
* Collaborate with project teams and contractors to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget
* Maintain and upgrade control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networks
* Diagnose and resolve EICA‑related faults across the site
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Maintain and interpret technical documentation including schematics and control philosophies
Qualifications
* A solid foundation in electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems
* Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus)
* Strong fault‑finding abilities and understanding of process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, etc.)
* Familiarity with control systems integration, especially in safety‑critical or production environments
* The ability to interpret and maintain technical documentation
* A flexible mindset and the drive to contribute across multiple projects
