Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed term contract starting April 2026 for a minimum of 18 weeks
Rate: £13.45 to £16.50 per hour plus bonuses & overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Seasonal General Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our Surface Dressing team. Your main focus will be ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel around the site. This is crucial for the safety of both our crew and the public.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures.
* Assisting drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, while maintaining accurate records.
* Supporting the safe operation of excavators and other heavy machinery, adhering to company policies on timekeeping and attendance.
* Recording and reporting any incidents or accidents on site, and keeping equipment and vehicles clean and functional.
* Helping with the setup and breakdown of work sites, and completing any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a full driving license, a current CSCS card, and have experience operating heavy machinery.
* You have a background in a similar role, such as construction or laboring, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
* You possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and are eager to learn new skills.
* You are flexible with shifts and available for overtime when needed.
