Within the Group, you will join the Group Tax Department (GTD) within the Group Finance Department
Your job and daily missions:
As a Junior Tax Professional, you will work closely with a team of 11 professionals in the Group Tax Department. You will collaborate with various departments within the Finance community and other teams such as Group Legal, Group Audit, Group HR, and Group Communication. The role involves partnering with a worldwide tax community of approximately 150 people across 15 countries and/or business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on various technical topics and files related to indirect tax, international tax (including transfer pricing), tax audits or litigations, and corporate finance projects (M&A initiatives, capital management projects).
* Work closely with senior team members to enhance the team's global impact by providing the necessary technical expertise and autonomy.
* Collaborate with the sub team in charge of tax accounting and reporting.
Qualifications : · 2 to 5 years of experience as a tax professional, ideally in a law firm, Big Four, or the tax team of an international group. Experience in the financial sector is a plus. · Strong technical skills with knowledge of tax accounting and IT tools. · Excellent communication and synthesis skills to engage with various stakeholders. · Embrace the challenge of working in a demanding and international environment with a positive and open mindset. · Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, on technical topics.
