ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – WIGAN – PERMANENT – £28.5K An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in the Wigan area. The company are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance candidate who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key duties will include: * Processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Performing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies * Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies * Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments * Maintaining financial records using Sage 200 * Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger postings * Handling queries from suppliers and customers * Ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial controls Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (30 mins lunch break) Our client is keen to seek an organised and detail-oriented individual with strong numerical skills and previous accounts experience.
