Job Specification: Utilities Engineer / Maintenance Technician Role Overview Reporting to the Team Leader, the Utilities Engineer will provide reactive and planned maintenance support across a production facility.

The role requires collaboration with multiple trades, ensuring utility systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities Escalate operational or maintenance issues to the Team Leader as required.
Assist other skilled trades with maintenance, testing, inspections, repairs, and installations.
Maintain utility service levels to support uninterrupted production.
Serve as first responder for site utility systems, including: Steam and condensate networks High and low-pressure compressed air Water treatment and distribution Effluent management systems Chemical dosing and delivery Cooling systems and water hygiene management Building Management Systems (BMS) Air handling and fixed cooling equipment Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements for all assets.
Conduct regular site monitoring to support environmental and operational compliance.
Participate in emergency response, including extended cover, call-outs, and remote monitoring.
Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve faults.
Work in line with established safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
Assist with machine setups and align operations with production requirements. xxuwjjq
