As part of the team, you will help us to grow whilst still providing the, fast, efficient and friendly service our customers expect. Main Duties to Include: You will gain a good understanding of regional market conditions, competitor activity and develop positive relationships with the customer base to maximise profitable business. Raise the profile of Newlay Asphalt Ltd across both sites and promote the use of our products within the regional areas. Proactively identify, manage, and track all opportunities building solid relationships with prospective and current customers to secure attractive business opportunities and further penetrate the market. Work on own initiative, establish priorities, plan your own work, meet deadlines and targets. Identify Industry trends. Completion of tenders for councils and other works. Implement organised strategies to enhance and widen our current customer base. Use of social media to enhance the Company profile. Essential Requirements: Knowledge or buying/selling in the construction industry. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in writing, telephone and via electronic communication services. Be a proactive self-motivated person who is results driven. Experience of tender processes. Must be computer literate. A willingness to be hands on in their approach to developing new business. Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers. Full clean driving licence. Salary and benefits: Competitive, negotiable dependent on experience.
