Your new companyYour new company are a market leader in their field and are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.Your new roleYour new role will include but not be limited to:
* Input of high volume invoices for various entities
* Checking for errors including entities, nominal ledger coding, analysis coding, currency, VAT code and correct supplier account selection
* Holding invoices not approved
* Weekly payment runs
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Validating VAT and Withholding Tax returns for accuracy
* Controlling contractor weekly and monthly invoices
* Maintaining control spreadsheet
* Liaising with contractors and agencies for missing invoices
* Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in a purchase ledger role previously dealing with high volumes and values
* Experience of entering multi-currency and multi-company invoices
* Excellent data entry skills - speed and accuracy
* UK VAT knowledge
* Attention to detail
* Good working use of Microsoft Excel
