About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and organised Unlicensed Medicines Coordinator to support the operational and administrative activities of our unlicensed (specials) medicines service. Reporting to the Unlicensed Medicines Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth processing of orders, supplier communication, and accurate record-keeping.
This is an ideal role for someone with pharmaceutical supply chain or administrative experience, looking to build a career in a growing and regulated area of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and track unlicensed medicine orders.
* Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and confirm lead times.
* Maintain accurate records of requests, invoices, and stock movements.
* Support compliance with MHRA and GDP requirements through accurate documentation.
* Liaise with internal teams and pharmacy customers on order progress and queries.
* Assist in maintaining supplier and pricing databases.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in pharmaceutical admin, stock control, or order processing (pharmacy technician or supply chain background a bonus).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and time management.
* Familiarity with MHRA/GDP guidelines preferred (training provided).
