Overview
Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: Stockport
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Hourly Pay Rate - £12.21 to £13.50 per hour dependant on experience, with higher rates on overtime.
Responsibilities
* Assemble, test, and package products accurately and efficiently.
* Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor or Manager.
* Carry out light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wire preparation and crimping.
* Accurately complete relevant documentation (e.g. test results, packaging details).
* Maintain a clean and organised working area.
* Report any issues or suggest improvements to assembly processes.
* Adhere to health and safety policies and quality assurance systems.
Qualifications
* Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks to a high standard.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Previous experience in a similar assembly or production role is advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours & Overtime
* Standard hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Overtime may be required at peak times:
* Weekday overtime paid at Time & ½ (typically until 6:00 PM)
* Saturday overtime paid at Time & ½ (minimum 4 hours)
