Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst – Fully Remote UK
Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst is required by our FinTech client to work in the Compliance Monitoring and Testing (“CMT”) Group. As Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst you will perform risk-based CMT reviews that cover regulatory obligations for AML/CFT and Sanctions and/or non-AML/CFT and Sanctions (such as, consumer protections, fair and safe trading, systems and controls) compliance. Follow established Policy and Procedures in the CMT life cycle of planning, execution, reporting and findings remediation, and provide escalation as needed.
As Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst you will participate in training and/or awareness materials regarding the CMT Program. Stay current on regulatory development and industry events to identify trends and emerging risks impacting products and the CMT Program. Continuously add value through effective project management and efficient execution.
The Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst will conduct regular horizon scanning to identify regulatory change and developments, such as FCA, PRA and EU legislation, that are applicable, support our client with gap analysis and embedding regulatory change identified as part of horizon scanning as appropriate.
Additionally, as Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst, you will be instrumental preparing accurate reports, MI and gap analyses for inclusion in committee and forum packs as required, in a timely manner. Senior Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst freelance profile required:
* Must have at least 4+ years of experience in executing Internal Audit and/or CMT program, testing plan, and activities across a diverse range of financial services/products.
* Have a well-practised knowledge of compliance-related laws, regulations and risk management practices for financial services/products.
* Good experiences in auditing/testing compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
* An accomplished background delivering work outcome to budget and meet quality standard.
* Advanced written/verbal communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Word/Google Doc, PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.
* Have been educated to BA/BS degree level in business, finance or other related fields.

* Contract: Temp PAYE
* Hourly rate: £24.76 – £33.47 /hour – 6-month contract
* Days onsite: Fully remote within the UK.
