About The Role
The role is based from our Head Office in Bamber Bridge working alongside a HGV Grab Driver covering the Lancashire areas. It is desirable to have experience but if not we are also seeking a person with the interest and enthusiasm to learn and progress. Full training will be provided.
Location: Bamber Bridge, Lancashire
Hours: 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 06.30am-16.30pm (with a 30 min unpaid break)
Salary: £33,800 per annum (overtime paid at X1.5)
Responsibilities
* Working on site, as part of a team
* Muck away operations
* Assisting the grab driver with collecting and delivering aggregates
* Good customer service skills are required as dealing with internal and external personnel
* Complete all relevant paperwork associated with day-to-day tasks
* Using a tablet for data collation
* Assisting in backfilling, compacting trenches and patches (reinstatements)
* Excellent housekeeping of the site, adhering to all health and safety policies.

* Civils experience
* Knowledge of using a handheld tablet
* NPORS
* Banksman
* Manual Handling
* Emergency First Aid
* NRSWA
* EUSR National Water Hygiene
* Asbestos Awareness
* Slinger and Signaller
* Abrasive Wheels
* Drivers licence (desirable)
* HGV Class 2 licence (desirable)
