Role Overview - Early Years Practitioner
The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children within the EYFS framework, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment. The Early Years Practitioner will work closely with staff to deliver activities that support early development and learning.
The Early Years Practitioner will play a key role in promoting social, emotional and cognitive development through structured play and learning activities.
Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
Supporting children as an Early Years Practitioner in daily activities and routines
Assisting with the delivery of EYFS-based learning
Encouraging play-based learning and development
Supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing
Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment as an Early Years PractitionerRequirements for the Early Years Practitioner
Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner or in a nursery setting
Understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient and energetic approach
