What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of the Insights Front-End team, your primary responsibilities will include helping build client-facing data visualization dashboards of Bazaarvoice data that provide clients with valuable insights into their program performance. This is a front-end role focused on JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and scripting languages like Bash or Python. You will be responsible for innovating, building out, and maintaining front-end applications that clients rely on to measure their BV product and program performance. You will also work to continually improve Bazaarvoice client tools to enhance the client experience during daily reporting tasks.
Who You Are
• BS in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional software development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop web applications
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.)
• Knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and computer science fundamentals
• Ability to demonstrate the power of newer CSS capabilities
• Demonstrated experience with React or similar frameworks
• Understanding of performance, accessibility, and security considerations in development
• Comfortable delivering within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience testing applications and designing testable software
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of at least one public cloud provider (AWS preferred, Google Cloud, Azure, or similar)
• Enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a diverse team across front-end and back-end engineering, product management, UX design, and technical writing
