We are looking for Senior Project Manager (18 months fixed term) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
Purpose of this role
To project manage the safe delivery of offsite Fibre Optic projects, with the aim of delivering a high standard/specification fibre optic network in a timely manner within budget. Responsible for the timely installation of EAD orders and where required Onsite/Offsite OSCPs for ALL new sites. Responsible for the timely installation of additional bearers into existing sites where additional capacity or resilience is required.
Note: This is an 18 month fixed term position.
Responsibilities
* Ordering of EAD products via our Service Providers (Sky, Vodafone, NEOS).
* Ordering of the External Variant cable link order via Sky, and coordination to completion up to Sky handover.
* Procurement of equipment and services to facilitate the installation of the backhaul solution.
* Manage and drive the timely delivery of 3rd party backhaul services to connect new sites via defined backhaul delivery models.
* Ensure fibre assets records for new infrastructure are recorded and the delivery database is up to date.
* Complete audits/site visits to ensure contractors meet BUUK core values and standards.
* Act as the focal point for Site Establishment Project Managers/Coordinators for delivery issues and escalations.
* Produce weekly reports for UIPs.
Qualifications
* SHEA Card or CSCS Card.
* Experience/knowledge: health and safety legislation; fibre optic networks; experience on new development sites.
* Ability to manage a team effectively; excellent verbal communication skills.
* Desirable: NRSWA Certificate.
