Job Description
As a Regional Sales & Operations Director, you will direct the operational and strategic course for your region, ensuring smooth operations and significant growth. You should possess robust commercial acumen, implement strategies, lead process transformations, and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage commercial operations across 4-6 depots, circa £80 million P&L, with £30 million EBITDA, overseeing teams of operations and sales professionals.
2. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and additional indirect colleagues, focusing on people development and succession planning.
3. Implement sales strategies to ensure profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
4. Promote a safety-first culture, driving transformational change emphasizing safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery.
5. Operate under high performance expectations set by private equity ownership, with a focus on pace and results.
Person Specification

* Fast-paced manufacturing or similar sectors such as construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals, preferably within larger corporations.
* Leading and developing teams of 5-10 direct and over 60 indirect staff.
* A visible, approachable management style with strong knowledge and accountability.
* Managing a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
