Job Title: Kitchen Assistant - Full and Part-time shifts available (including alternate weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent
Shifts: Full-Time hours - 38.5 per week, Part-Time hours - 15 & 18 hours per week.
Rate of pay: £11.70 per hour

* Woodside Nursing Home, Bathwick Hills, Bathwick, Bath BA2 6EN. Full-time and Part-time of 18 hours.
* Winfield Lodge Residential Home, Weston Park, Bath BA1 4AS. Part-time of 18 hours.

Job Description:
* Assist the Chef in the preparation of meals.
* Undertaking preparation, plating and serving of meals to Residents, staff, and visitors as required.
* Preparing and heating up breakfast items and serving as required.
* Heating up or baking prepared supper food and serving as required.
* Preparing sandwiches as required by the Chef.
* Providing necessary crockery, cutlery, trays and serving utensils
* Ensuring that the trolleys are clean and well presented before being transported to the floors for serving.
* Thoroughly cleaning all serving trolleys after each meal.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
* We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct kitchen experience is required, although it is beneficial.
* A background in Customer Service or a People Oriented Environment is desirable.
* Individuals who can adapt well to working as a team and independently
* Individuals who have good verbal and written communication
* Evidence of having undertaken relevant training i.e. health & safety, food hygiene is not required, although it is beneficial.
