Volunteer Opportunity: Early Years Volunteer (Big Cup Playgroups)

Description: The role of Early Years Volunteer is a fantastic opportunity to support families and children in your local area through our Big Cup playgroups. These playgroups provide a relaxed and fun environment where parents can spend quality time with their children, seek emotional support, and connect with other parents.
As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting parents, making them feel welcome, and ensuring they receive the support they need. This role is especially suitable for those interested in pursuing a career in early years. Volunteers need to be 16 years or older.
General Duties:
1. Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
2. Get to know parents/carers and children.
3. Engage with children at their level and participate in play.
4. Assist with the running of Big Cup, including kitchen duties, setting up, greeting attendees, and supporting parents as needed.
5. Contribute to planning engaging activities for Big Cup.
Session Details:
Sessions run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the following locations:
* Monday - Bentilee
* Tuesday - Tunstall
* Wednesday - Newcastle Under Lyme, Abbey Hulton
* Thursday - Longton
* Friday - Hanley, Newcastle Under Lyme
