JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst

NATURE OF WORK:
1. Consolidating and analyzing financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
2. Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status
3. Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
4. Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
5. Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
6. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
7. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
8. Gather meaningful information, identify trends and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis
9. Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
10. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
11. Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the market place
12. Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
13. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
14. Actively assist the monthly financial close process in all respects
15. Lead and administrate Operations Finance projects
16. Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close process
17. Other duties as assigned
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
18. Minimum of 5-7 years’ proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, specifically in a manufacturing environment; electronics manufacturing is a plus.
19. Expertise and superior proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
20. Proficiency with financial software applications. Oracle knowledge/experience is highly desirable.
21. Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills, drawing conclusions and communicating results
22. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
23. Proven knowledge of financial accounting including the monthly financial close process
24. Sufficient knowledge and ability to interpret, organize and analyze financial data from multiple sources including engineering, shop floor, accounting and other areas
25. Sufficient skills to develop ad hoc reports and presentations
26. Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment
27. Leadership skills to lead multi-departmental projects
28. Excellent time management and prioritization skills with regard to strict deadlines.
29. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
