Overview

As the Building Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and success of your properties, and in creating a vibrant, innovative customer-focused experience for residents and guests. You will use your communication and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and act as the bridge between customers and the business. This role involves managing operations, leading your team, and delivering high standards across all aspects of the property.


Responsibilities

* Customer engagement, administrative duties, building management, sales and strategic planning to deliver exceptional services to customers.
* Collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure the property is managed and performs at its best across all areas.


Customer Experience

* Customer experience is central to our accommodation buildings and brands; strive to lead and surpass expectations.
* Create an unforgettable experience from discovery to events and wellbeing programmes, across all touchpoints.
* Encourage referrals and repeat business by delivering a superior experience for customers.


Asset Management

* Manage and monitor health and safety compliance within your property to promote a risk-free environment.
* Oversee regulatory and compliance issues and manage the financial performance of the residence.
* Lead continuous improvement and provide value-added initiatives across the residence.
* Prepare for asset mobilisation of new properties, including costings, team structure, SOPs, recruitment and onboarding readiness.
* Provide and manage an escalation matrix in emergencies, liaising with stakeholders as appropriate.
* Work with the wider operations team to drive consistent performance across the property.
* Lead, mentor and guide the team to ensure smooth operations and openness to new ideas.
* Maintain high standards within the property and the team you manage.
