We're looking for a Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead how we plan, analyse and report on financial performance across the MND Association. This is a high-impact role that sits at the heart of strategic decision-making shaping financial sustainability, improving business insight, and enabling smarter resource allocation. You'll work closely with the Interim CFO, incoming COO, and senior leadership to ensure our financial planning and analysis not only supports operational needs but also drives long-term strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead and evolve financial planning and analysis across the organisation to support strategic and operational sustainability. Oversee the creation and review of management accounts, ensuring insight-led, proactive performance management. Use tools such as Power BI and X Ledger to deliver high-quality, evidence-based financial reporting. Partner with the Head of Strategy to enhance budgeting and long-term financial planning processes. Develop and embed financial business partnering across the organisation, building confidence and capability in non-finance teams. Support leadership teams in monitoring project performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise value for money. Coach and upskill colleagues within the finance team, fostering a culture of analytical curiosity and continuous improvement. Work alongside the Interim CFO and incoming COO to shape future resourcing and team development plans. About You Relevant experience in senior financial planning and analysis leadership roles, ideally in other comparable not for profits of similar size and sectors. Qualified Management Accountant (highly desirable) Strong business partnering experience, with the ability to build credibility and influence at executive level and non-executives. A track record of developing people, driving performance, and leading change. Advanced understanding of financial systems and business intelligence tools, ideally Power BI. The confidence to operate at pace while keeping an eye on long-term strategy. A collaborative, forward-thinking approach and a genuine passion for using data to tell a story.
