About the Role
We are seeking a creative Design and Technology Teacher to join an Independent school in Harrow from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Design and Technology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a skilled Design and Technology Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons, covering various design and manufacturing processes.
* Prepare students for projects and assessments.
* Develop students' design thinking and practical skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of DT resources.
* Organise and lead design and technology-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
* Proven experience in teaching design and technology at secondary level.
* Strong technical and practical skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
