NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER, MANSFIELD, PERMANENT, 18.5HRS, GRADE 3N - £25,141, FTE
Sherwood Street Centre is a 24-hour Homeless Hostel providing safe and supportive accommodation for individuals experiencing Homelessness. At the service we have 15 units of core accommodation for up to 16 individuals with complex needs, and 62 units of dispersed housing in the community. We offer tailored support to help people move towards independent living.
As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and well-being of the residents during the night hours.
You will be expected to provide practical support and understand the issues faced by people affected by homelessness, including housing support; substance use, mental health and use a trauma informed care approach. You will manage any incidents that arise and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Shift Pattern is 9:15pm- 08:15am 2 Rota Shifts per week

1. Contribute to the safe and effective running of the site at all times, responding to incidents, tensions, welfare concerns and staffing problems that arise, supporting colleagues and people using the service with calmness, respect and professionalism.
