Job Title: Global Mid-Level Giving Manager
Reports to: Associate Director of Philanthropy (UK and Europe)
Location: Godalming, Surrey (2 days in the office per week)
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Global Fundraising team, the Global Mid-Level Giving Manager plays a vital role in driving income growth and deepening donor engagement across multiple international markets. This role focuses on managing and expanding Compassion’s Circle of Compassion programme, delivering exceptional stewardship, and building strong, lasting relationships with mid-level and emerging major donors.
As a Global Mid-Level Giving Manager, you are expected to...
* Lead and grow the Circle of Compassion mid-level giving programme, managing donor relationships in the £1k–£10k range.
* Cultivate and steward a portfolio of mid-level and emerging major donors, ensuring long-term engagement and increased giving.
* Develop and deliver compelling donor communications, campaigns, newsletters and impact reports that inspire continued and increased support.
* Create and implement targeted strategies to acquire new mid-level donors and strengthen the donor pipeline.
* Monitor donor behaviour, track engagement trends, and use data insights to inform stewardship and retention approaches.
* Support the development of donor-focused events (virtual and in-person) that deepen connections and drive giving.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Proven experience managing and stewarding mid-level and/or major donor relationships, with a strong track record of securing gifts of four-five figures
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor materials and personalised stewardship content.
* Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging with donors, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
* Solid understanding of donor journeys, fundraising principles, and data-driven decision-making to improve donor engagement and retention.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, analysis, and donor management.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* A genuine passion for Compassion in World Farming’s mission and values, and the ability to inspire others to support this cause.
* Desirable: European language skills (particularly French, Dutch, or Italian) and experience in an international fundraising context.
