Hays are now looking for a Ruby Developer for one of our local clients:
1. Day Rate: Negotiable
2. Hybrid: Mainly Remote with some travel to Bath
3. Contract Length: 10 Months+
The successful candidate will join apact, high-performing development team, delivering targeted Ruby-based projects including development of our client's content management systems.
What We Are Looking For
• Broad expertise in Ruby-driven digital development, evidenced by a strong portfolio
• Deep familiarity with standard Ruby tools and workflows, including GitLab
• Rapid aptitude for understandingplex systems and infrastructures
• Proven track record of independently leading development initiatives
• Skilled in advising on technical roadmaps and infrastructure decisions
• Strong adherence to Agile practices, with hands-on experience in iterative delivery teams
• Proficient using Jira or equivalent project-management platforms
• Extensive hands-on work with Ruby-based CMS (inc.Typecase) or equivalent systems
