We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior IT Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, business-critical IT services within a professional services environment. This is a pivotal leadership role, acting as the bridge between the business, internal IT teams, and external suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of the firm’s technology landscape, while driving continuous improvement and innovation across IT services. The Role As Senior IT Manager, you will take full accountability for the operational delivery of IT services, leading a multi-disciplinary team across service desk, cloud, infrastructure and information security. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing IT teams to deliver a high-performing, customer-focused service Ensuring the stability, performance and security of all IT systems and infrastructure Owning IT service management processes (incident, problem, change and request) in line with ITIL best practice Defining and managing service standards and SLAs across internal teams and third-party suppliers Overseeing cloud infrastructure, networks, hardware and software environments Driving cyber security strategy, including threat mitigation, incident response, and business continuity planning Leading IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency Managing supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation across IT services Contributing to the development and delivery of the wider Technology & Innovation strategy About You You will be a confident and experienced IT leader, ideally from a legal or professional services environment, with a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial awareness. You will bring: Proven experience leading and developing high-performing IT teams Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cyber security Experience delivering reliable, responsive, and customer-focused IT services A track record of managing suppliers and negotiating contracts effectively The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on where required Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) (desirable) Azure certifications (advantageous) ITIL certification (advantageous) Why Join Us?
