Immediate opening for a Credit Controller in an established and growing construction recruitment business based in central Reading. This Credit Controller role provides good scope for growth and early responsibility within a supportive Credit Control team and gives exposure to the full credit control cycle.
Please note that this role is office-based, not remote.
The Role:
Working within our small, friendly team in our Reading Head Office, as a credit controller you will carry out all aspects of general credit control management and cash collection including:
1. Ledger management
2. Chasing outstanding debt and payments
3. Creating reports
4. Maintaining debtor days within agreed levels
5. Dealing with queries from both internal and external stakeholders
6. Sending out and reconciling client statements
7. Maintaining accurate records of all client communication
8. Checking insurance availability on new and existing clients
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have some experience of working within a Credit Control or Finance team with an understanding of the critical role that Credit Control plays within the Finance function. We are looking for candidates who display the following:

10. Computer literate, preferably with a good knowledge of Excel

14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident telephone manner
15. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
