Responsibilities
As a Midas automotive technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:
1. Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
2. Tire services and repairs
3. Heating and air conditioning repairs
4. Steering and suspension services
5. Belt and hose replacements
6. Radiator and engine cooling system repairs
7. Batteries, starting, and charging system repairs
8. Brake system repairs
9. Muffler and exhaust system services
10. Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications
1. Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment
2. High personal productivity
3. Knowledge of safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
4. Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
5. High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
6. State-specific auto repair certifications
7. Valid driver’s license
8. Own tools/equipment, including diagnostic scanners/tools preferred
9. Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are considered for qualified candidates.
Compensation ranges from $12.00 to $30.00 per hour.
