This is aFull time role on atemporary contract basis
* Be committed to the Vision and carry out work within the spirit and intention of its core values.
* An understanding and awareness of the concept of “Making Every Contact Count” (MECC), attending training where necessary.
* To contribute to and assist in the production and delivery of service Development Plans, reports to elected Members, new services and work programmes.
* To maintain an awareness of, and comply with, the service standards, performance and quality management arrangement of the service.
* To foster an innovative and open environment within Development Control where employees feel supported, involved and consulted.
* To show flexibility in responding to change and to make use of the technology available to deliver and improve the Development Control service.
* To carry out all the work within the spirit and intention of equal opportunities and customer care, recognising and valuing diversity in the community and workplace and promoting the same.
* To work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related policies and procedures.
* To undertake personal development commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the job.
