About the Company
We are a busy Tier 2 regional civil engineering contractor delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the South East.
Working in partnership with major utility providers and principal contractors, the business delivers a range of schemes including pipeline installations, pumping stations, treatment works upgrades, reinforced concrete structures, and network improvements that support critical water infrastructure.
Due to continued growth and a strong order book within the water sector, we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Foreman to support project delivery across multiple sites.
As Site Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, managing teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
You will coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors across a range of water and wastewater civil engineering schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
Managing daily site activities and programme delivery
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Coordinating labour, plant and materials
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Working closely with Site Managers and Engineers
Delivering works safely within live water infrastructure environments
Completing site documentation including daily reports, inspections and permits
Requirements
Proven experience as a Foreman / Supervisor within civil engineering
Experience delivering water, wastewater, pipeline or utilities infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, pipelines and concrete structures
SSSTS or SMSTS
CSCS card (Supervisor level or above)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
