In this role, you will help children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. In SEN Schools across Halifax (Calderdale).
Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN.
* Support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
* Work with teaching assistants and SENCOs to implement IEPs.
* Track pupil progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
* Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure holistic support.
Requirements of a SEN Teacher:
* Qualified teacher with SEN experience.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Empathetic, adaptable, and solution-focused.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusion principles.
