Commercial Analyst (Marketplace & eCommerce) | Normanton / Hybrid
If you are analytically sharp, commercially curious, and want to build a serious career in modern eCommerce, this one is worth reading.
I am working with a fast-growing multi-channel trading business based in Normanton, West Yorkshire on a role that sits right at the centre of their online commercial operation.
This is not a reporting role where you produce numbers and hand them over. This is a role where your analysis directly influences trading decisions, stock strategy, pricing, and marketplace growth across some of the biggest online channels in the UK.
The channels you will be working across include:
Amazon UK and EU, TikTok Shop, eBay, B&Q Marketplace, Tesco Marketplace, OnBuy, D2C websites, and social commerce. That is real breadth and real exposure.
What the role actually involves:
Analysing performance by SKU, ASIN, category and channel. Building commercial models to assess product viability. Supporting pricing decisions through competitor and margin analysis. Reviewing stock holding against sales velocity. Identifying high-potential products for FBA and SWA fulfilment. Reviewing PPC performance across ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, and conversion rate. Building reporting dashboards and presenting commercial insight to senior leadership.
What they are looking for:
Someone who thinks commercially, not just analytically. Advanced Excel is essential, including pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and scenario modelling. A background in mathematics, economics, finance, data science, or commercial analytics would suit this role well. Amazon Seller Central experience and an understanding of FBA, Buy Box dynamics, and inventory management is a genuine advantage but not a dealbreaker.
This role would also suit a strong graduate with the right academic background and genuine commercial curiosity who wants to build their career in eCommerce from the ground up.
What you get in return:
Hands-on exposure to real trading strategy from day one. Direct access to senior leadership. A clear development path into marketplace trading, category management, and commercial leadership. And a business that is genuinely growing, not just saying it is.
Salary up to £40k depending on experience. Hybrid working with the office base in Normanton, West Yorkshire.
If this sounds like the right move, send me a message or drop your CV to and I will come straight back to you.
