The team
The Change Management team within the Service Management function is dedicated to maintaining and protecting the Live Service. They focus on analysing the risks and impacts of IT Changes to ensure service continuity. The team works collaboratively to facilitate the Change Management Process with a strong emphasis on risk mitigation. Their efforts are crucial in supporting problem groups and suppliers, driving quality improvements, and ensuring the timely processing of change records.
What will you be doing?
* Partnering with a team dedicated to IT change management
* Facilitating the change management process with appropriate rigor and risk mitigation when assessing change records
* Supporting problem groups and suppliers with change management processes and driving quality improvements
* Managing the timely processing of incoming change records requests through effective queue management
* Administering SSL certificates to ensure no back-end certificates expire, preventing disruptions to live services
* Producing required monthly management information for the team and contributing to the continuous improvement of change management processes

Minimum
* Demonstrated expertise in ITIL-based service management processes (ITIL Foundation Certified as desirable)
* Practical experience managing change, configuration, incident, and problem management activities
* Proficient in the use of ServiceNow for IT service management operations
Essential
* Proven ability to influence and develop relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
* Excellent networking and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing
* Strong analytical skills for making informed assessment choices.
* Pragmatic problem-solving abilities, using sound judgment to quickly identify and address key issues
* Expertise in a service-oriented approach, with experience working in operational teams, including those from third-party suppliers
* Demonstrated ability to build confidence, both personally and on behalf of the Technology team
* Experience in representing Technology effectively in various contexts and interactions
