Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dental Nurse based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Dental Nurse will assist dentists during clinical procedures, maintain infection control measures, oversee the decontamination of equipment, and provide essential chairside support. The role also involves ensuring patient comfort, explaining dental care procedures, and assisting with treatments as needed. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the practice by supporting professionals and delivering top-quality patient care.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Dentistry and fundamental knowledge in Dental Care
* Skills in Infection Control and Decontamination procedures to promote safety and hygiene
* Experience with Orthodontics and related clinical procedures
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant qualifications in dental nursing, with active registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
