Deputy COLP / Compliance Solicitor - On-Site, Liverpool
A leading law firm is seeking a Deputy COLP to support its COLP in ensuring compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations, maintaining a robust risk and compliance framework. This is a pivotal role ensuring the firm operates to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring regulatory compliance, conducting file reviews and audits.
* Develop and implement compliance policies, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
* Conduct internal audits, identify risks, and provide training on compliance matters.
* Investigate and resolve compliance concerns, collaborating across the firm to mitigate risks.
* Maintain compliance records and monitor quality assurance systems.
Candidate Requirements:
* 3+ years PQE, ideally with compliance experience in a legal practice.
* Strong knowledge of legal regulations, civil litigation, Pre-Action Protocols, and Civil Procedure Rules.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handling confidential information with discretion.

* Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+.
