Role Overview
The Domestic Services Department is recruiting Domestic Assistants to maintain high standards of cleanliness across Perth & Kinross locality, including wards, theatres, offices, health centres, and GP practices.
Candidate Requirements
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including lone working.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Respond constructively to unpredictable situations and work under pressure.
* Complete domestic-related paperwork.
* Awareness of basic health & safety and infection control issues.
* Carry out tasks methodically and follow instructions.
* Undertake mandatory training, online and face-to-face.
* Perform duties safely, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
* Work effectively in busy clinical and non-clinical environments, including areas with increased heat, secure units, and distressed patients.
* Maintain a professional approach and confidentiality.
* Be reliable, responsible, adaptable, and learn new skills.
Additional Information
