About the role:
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for instructing and evaluating students enrolled in animal studies programs. Operating within modern laboratories and diverse animal collection centers, you will design engaging lesson plans that align with strict awarding body specifications. The role requires a balanced approach to delivering academic theory alongside essential physical handling and husbandry techniques.

· Prepare and deliver stimulating theory and practical lessons to student groups.
· Set academic goals that stretch, challenge, and inspire individual learners.
· Monitor student attendance, assess coursework, and provide constructive feedback.
· Supervise physical interactions, feeding routines, and husbandry tasks with species collections.
· Maintain rigorous health and safety standards for students and livestock.
· Conduct regular student tutorials and assist with the vocational recruitment process.
Requirements –
The ideal candidate would have:
· A recognized degree, HND, or equivalent level qualification in an animal discipline.
· Proven vocational industry experience in zookeeping, animal care, or veterinary science.
· A formal teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
· Strong knowledge of behavior management and support for diverse learning abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and digital communication skills.
· An active interest in utilizing learning technologies to improve classroom accessibility.
