About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Wellbeing Support Administrator to join our established Health and Wellbeing team to support the delivery of the Wellbeing Hub across the Horsham District. The Wellbeing Service is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health within our local communities. The service provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support.
As Wellbeing Support Administrator you will be based at our Wellbeing Hub in Swan Walk (Horsham) and will be responsible for providing administration support to the Wellbeing team and associated projects. You will be part of a small team that act as first point of contact for members of the public (face to face at reception, telephone and via email), health professionals and other organisations. The post holder will also be responsible for organising appointments, making and receiving referrals and assessing eligibility for our in-house courses.
About you:
To succeed as Wellbeing Support Administrator you will be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills and a passion for promoting health in the community. You will be able to manage conflicting priorities, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be reliable and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will have excellent IT skills and experience of providing administration support in a busy environment.
This post requires some flexibility, as occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
