This is more than just processing invoices. It is a role for someone with drive and initiative, who wants to get stuck into all areas of transactional finance and play a hands‑on part in keeping the department running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Allocating payments and coding invoices (AP)
* Posting remittances and reconciling receipts (AR)
* Maintaining the cash book and Excel payment logs
* Cleaning up ledgers and chasing suppliers
* Taking ownership of month‑end housekeeping tasks
* Supporting wider accounts duties, depending on your experience
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or transactional finance role
* Someone who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
* A team player who is also confident working independently
* Strong Excel skills and general IT confidence (bonus points for pivot tables!)
* Driven to develop and learn study support is on offer!
