Shift Details
Schedule: Day shift from 5 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with an on-call schedule during weekends.
Travel Requirements
While most of your work will be in the shop, you may need to travel for service calls in Houston and West Texas. Don’t worry—our customer covers all travel costs and lodging outside of the Houston area!
What You'll Bring
Top Skills Required:
* 3-5 years of experience as a field service technician
* Previous rig mechanic experience
* Familiarity with hydraulic schematics

Your Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service for product sales, maintenance, and repairs. Your attention to detail and self-motivation will be key to your success!
Primary Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the internal team to understand customer service equipment and ensure safe operation.
* Travel to customer sites for inspections, installations, testing, calibration, repairs, and training.
* Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
* Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements for better performance.
* Conduct equipment failure analyses and troubleshoot issues.
* Prepare technical reports documenting modifications and maintenance procedures.
* Implement field upgrades of software and hardware, training customers on proper operation.
* Communicate field failures and feedback to relevant departments.
* Maintain clear and accurate service reports upon completion of tasks.
* Self-dispatch and manage your schedule effectively.
* Engage with both internal and external customers daily, showcasing your organizational and project management skills.
* Complete other work-related tasks as assigned.
* Adhere to all company and HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school education in a mechanical or related field is preferred.
* Experience as an Oilfield, Rig, or Industrial Mechanic, especially with Iron Roughnecks, Catwalks, and Torque Machines.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A leader who is self-motivated and can interact effectively with customers.
Job Requirements
* Adhere to all HSE requirements.
* Work hours determined by the manager, including on-call hours.
* Ability to work in a factory environment with high noise levels, vibrations, fumes, dust, and odors.
* Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
* Be available for non-standard work hours, including 24/7 operational support.
* Comply with Global and Local QHSE policies.
* Maintain professionalism and ethical behavior in line with corporate policies.
