Shop Manager – Full Time
We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Cowley, Hillingdon, Greater London. This is a permanent full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days per week. You should be fully flexible in availability throughout the week, including weekends.
Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week.
Pay: £32,944.97 – £46,483.67 per annum.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example and actively engage in day‑to‑day shop operations.
* Motivate and inspire the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
* Recruit, induct and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and feedback, building a talent pipeline.
* Hold full accountability for the shop, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment.
* Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to meet all KPI’s, reporting directly to the area manager.
* Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
* Excellent leadership skills, able to motivate people in a busy, challenging environment.
* A "people person" who easily builds strong working relationships.
* Trustworthy and reliable; work reliably as an important part of a small team.
* Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
* Full driving licence desirable; applicants without a licence but meeting other criteria are welcome to apply.
