Job Summary
We have a new opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager, who will play a critical role in the day-to-day learning and development (L&D) activities and work alongside the People and Culture team.
As a key leader within the People and Culture team, the Learning and Development Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of a hospice-wide Learning and Development Strategy. This role ensures that all staff clinical and non-clinical are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and capabilities needed to deliver outstanding palliative and end-of-life care, while meeting regulatory, commissioning, and organisational standards.
The post holder will drive innovation in professional development, build tailored learning pathways for roles and departments, and work closely with external stakeholders (including NHS trusts, commissioners, and partner hospices) to ensure alignment with external frameworks and evolving healthcare priorities.
