The working day can be unpredictable, involving organizing activities in the morning and providing 1:1 support in the afternoon.

* Competitive pay: £15.00-£15.50 per hour, plus a £30 sleep-in rate

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence
* Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* 12 months experience in a Residential setting (highly desirable but applications from newcomers are encouraged)
* Willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks as per government regulations


Key Duties:

* Providing high-quality care for children
* Offering guidance, support, and structure
* Supporting access to education
* Promoting healthy lifestyles and positive choices
* Participating in clinically led training to improve skills
* Household duties, record keeping, and report writing
* Organizing days out and activities
* Attending meetings, visits, and therapy sessions
* Transporting young people to various provisions

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must consent to an enhanced DBS check and provide at least two references covering the past two years. Applicants should include all employment details related to working with children and vulnerable groups, including education history.
