Due to continued growth, we are looking to engage a Senior Solicitor within the Residential Property team.
Your new role
As a Senior Residential Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through topletion, while also playing a key role in supporting and developing junior team members. You’ll act as a point of escalation, ensure quality standards are met, and contribute to process improvements across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity.
2. Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and conveyancing assistants, providing technical guidance and support
3. Conduct title reviews, draft and approve legal documents, and ensurepliance with regulatory and firm standards.
4. Deliver exceptional client care, offering clear,mercially focused advice.
5. Work closely with management to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
6. Monitor caseload progression within the team, resolving issues promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licenced Conveyancer with 5+ years PQE in residential property.
8. Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process, including title checking and drafting.
9. Previous supervisory or mentoring experience with a collaborative leadership style.
10. Excellent client care andmunication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
11. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to managepeting deadlines.
12. Proficiency with case management systems is desirable.
