Accounts Technician - Newry
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with well established organisation based in Newry to recruit for an Accounts Technician on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
This company is one of the leading suppliers in their industry servicing across both the UK & Ireland. They have a large finance team based in Newry & are looking for an additional accounts technician to join their team.
Job Duties of the Accounts Technician:
* Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
* General ledger including reconciliation of ledger accounts
* Reconciliation of bank accounts
* Maintenance of fixed asset register
* Preparation of VAT returns and related reporting
* Support the company's annual financial budget process
* Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts
* Assist with other financial duties
What you need to be the successful Accounts Technician?
* Minimum of 2 years experience working in a finance department
* Experience of assisting with the production of management accounts
* Experience of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
* Strong attention to detail
