This allows us to deal with every aspect of the dispute resolution process, from assisting in negotiations to managing more formal processes such as mediation, adjudication, and arbitration. We can act as your advocate or provide testimony in adjudication, arbitration, or litigation proceedings as an independent expert witness. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Senior Project Planner will support the business in serving its client organizations and will be competent in managing all commercial aspects of the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, with a track record of meeting time and budgetary requirements. Rowfield is strongly committed to the development of its people. Staff will be supported to progress to a level consistent with their aspirations, through both in-house mentoring and approved external academic and professional courses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience of working as a Senior Planner, or strong potential to step into this role for the first time
* Experience of mentoring/managing junior staff
* Operational experience of construction projects
* Support effective project delivery within budget, time, and quality parameters aligned with client goals
* Proven experience with planning software, ideally Primavera P6
* Familiarity with Earned Value Management
* Production of NEC (3/4) programme submissions for Project Manager acceptance
* Ability to identify risks and opportunities through knowledge of construction sequencing and critical path analysis
* Assist in producing commercial reports and monitoring the project's financial health
* Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks, minimizing operational impacts
Education and Experience:
* B.S. degree in construction or engineering-related field
* Member of a professional body or working towards membership (with support from Rowfield)
* 8+ years of construction planning experience
* Strong track record supporting NEC 3/4 programmes
* Experience managing project schedules for projects valued at £10M to £30M+
