Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced PowerApps Developer.
* This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office & 2 days from home
To support the design, development, and deployment of business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on assisting senior developers and technical leads in building efficient, user-friendly, and scalable low-code/no-code solutions that automate processes and improve business productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* App Development & Customization
Build canvas and model-driven apps using Microsoft PowerApps.
Customize and enhance existing PowerApps applications.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions with clear and effective app interfaces.
* Workflow Automation
Use Power Automate to create business process workflows.
Automate repetitive tasks and integrate with services like SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
* Data Integration
Connect apps to various data sources such as:
SharePoint, Dataverse (Common Data Service), SQL Server, Excel, Dynamics 365
Understand and use connectors to integrate third-party apps/APIs.
* Troubleshooting & Support
Identify bugs or performance issues in apps.
Provide basic user support and respond to user feedback.
Assist in testing and debugging during development.
* Documentation
Maintain technical documentation for applications, flows, and configurations.
Document app functionalities, updates, and changes for stakeholders and team members.
* Collaboration
Work closely with business analysts, senior developers, and end-users to gather and understand requirements.
Participate in team meetings and Agile/Scrum ceremonies (if applicable).
Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
* Learning & Skill Development
Stay updated with Power Platform capabilities, updates, and best practices.
Learn new connectors, formulas, and integration methods.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Advanced understanding of Power Platform
PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) – Structure, components, and UI design principles.
Power Automate – Automating workflows and using standard connectors.
Dataverse (Common Data Service) – Basic data modelling and relationships.
* Microsoft Ecosystem Familiarity
SharePoint Online – Lists, libraries, and integration with PowerApps.
Office 365 Tools – Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive.
Microsoft Teams integration with PowerApps.
* Data Handling
Knowledge of data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs).
Basic understanding of entities, tables, fields, and relationships.
Ability to use formulas and expressions in PowerApps (like Excel functions).
* Logical Thinking & Problem Solving
Ability to break down business requirements into app functionalities.
Debugging common errors in apps or flows.
* Basic Scripting/Logic Knowledge
Familiarity with Power Fx (PowerApps formula language).
Basic conditional logic and loops in Power Automate.
