The role
As a Commercial Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Through Life Equipment Support (TLES) Business Unit, supporting critical defence contracts that help protect the UK and its allies. This is a dynamic opportunity to influence commercial strategy, drive transformation and contribute to national security. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, gaining exposure to high-impact projects and accelerating your career in a purpose-driven environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
1. Providing commercial support across all Business Unit activities
2. Supporting negotiations with the Authority and commercial organisations
3. Managing changes to contractual documents
4. Advising on governance and compliance within the Business Unit
5. Handling documentation and administrative support for the commercial team
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Commercial Specialist:
6. Delivering commercial support to MOD or commercial contracts
7. Managing back-office commercial operations
8. Working across the full contract lifecycle in multi-disciplinary environments
9. Preferably experienced in the Defence Industry
10. Communicating commercial solutions to diverse audiences
