What You’ll Be Doing
14. Managing your own portfolio of individuals, HNWIs, landlords, sole traders, and more
15. Preparing personal tax returns with accuracy and efficiency in a high‑volume environment
16. Providing expert tax advice on CGT, residency, foreign income, buy‑to‑let, and other advisory areas
17. Acting as a trusted advisor, liaising with clients and HMRC
18. Handling tax enquiries and resolving client queries with confidence
What We’re Looking For
19. Minimum two years’ experience in a personal tax role within practice
20. Strong understanding of UK personal tax compliance
21. Exposure to advisory areas such as CGT, BTL, EMI shares, and sole traders
22. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
23. Commercial awareness and a client‑first mindset
24. Proficiency with tax software (ideally IRIS) and Microsoft Office
Preferred (Not Essential)
25. ATT qualified or part‑qualified (CTA also welcomed)
26. Experience with Trusts
27. Experience mentoring junior colleagues
28. Experience valued over formal qualifications — talent and capability matter most
