About the Role
We re looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver s Mate to join our transport team. You ll work alongside our delivery drivers to help ensure goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role that involves physical work, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods
* Ensure items are handled carefully and delivered to the correct locations
* Help navigate routes and communicate with customers on delivery times
* Complete paperwork or delivery notes accurately
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the vehicle and at delivery sites
* Provide excellent customer service on every job
About You
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely
* Punctual, dependable, and a team player
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Flexible with working hours early starts, weekends, or overtime may be required
* Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse role is an advantage but not essential full training provided
